Technology essay

I believe that technology can be useful and convenient, but it does not make our lives better. There are three reasons why I believe this.

Firstly, our society has become addicted to technology, and now we rely on it more than ever. Before this decade it would have been absurd to see a teenager with a cell phone, and now elementary or middle schools have to ban them. Because technology distracted people, Students cannot focus to schoolwork well.

Secondly, we have become so adapted to this technology that losing your cell phone or not having Internet service for more than a couple of days becomes a big problem.

Thirdly, technology is bad for human health. For example, too much computer or tablet work can ruin your eyes. Scanners with lasers are bad for you as well.

We did not have as much technology in the past, but that does not mean that the quality of life was worse. But I do not like people making some new technology, because we have become addicted to technology; it is not a necessity to our happiness in life.
